Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before booking a yacht charter:
Rental Agreement:
By booking a yacht charter in Turkey, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in the charter agreement. The contract will be signed online between the charterer (the person or organization that booked the yacht) and the COMETOBOAT (the yacht owner or representative).
Booking Confirmation and Payment:
A 50% deposit or full payment as determined by COMETOBOAT is required to secure the rental. Reservation is considered confirmed after payment is received. The remaining balance must be paid at the start of the lease.
Rental Period:
The rental period begins and ends as stated in the rental agreement. It is essential to comply with the agreed dates and times for embarkation and disembarkation. Any change in the rental period must be approved by the rental company.
Responsibilities of the Lessor:
The charterer is responsible for providing accurate and complete information during the booking process, including the number of guests, special requests, and any relevant medical or dietary requirements. The lessor must also comply with all the laws, regulations and customs of Turkey during the rental.
Yacht Usage and Navigation:
The charterer agrees to use the yacht for recreational purposes only and to follow safe navigation practices. The yacht cannot be sub-leased or used for any commercial activity without the written consent of the charter company. The lessor must abide by the regulations and guidelines.
Team and Services:
If the charter includes a crew, the charterer must treat them with respect and provide adequate living space and meals. Crew responsibilities and working hours will be defined in the charter contract. Additional services such as meals, water sports equipment or transportation can be provided upon request and at an additional cost.
Insurance:
The rental company is responsible for insuring the yacht against risks and damages. However, the lessor is advised to take out travel insurance that covers personal belongings, accidents and unforeseen circumstances for the duration of the rental.
Cancellation and Refund:
In case of cancellation of the rental by the Lessor, the Deposit is non-refundable. In unforeseen circumstances such as adverse weather conditions or technical problems with the yacht, the charter company reserves the right to cancel or change the charter. In such cases, an alternative arrangement or refund will be provided.
Limitation of Liability:
The charterer accepts that yacht chartering activities involve inherent risks. COMETOBOAT and its representatives cannot be held responsible for any loss, injury, damage or inconvenience incurred during the rental, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Pricing on the COMETOBOAT website does not include VAT.
